Students and exam-takers downloading the test-taking software, Examplify, should review these Minimum System Requirements (MSRs) to ensure their devices are supported. Examplify works with most modern computers, both Mac and Windows operating systems. See requirements by platform below:
For Mac: MacOS Catalina (version 10.15) is only compatible with Examplify version 2.0.6 or higher (Released on 10/14/19 or later) Supported operating systems: OS X 10.13 (High Sierra), OS X 10.14 (Mojave), Mac OS Catalina (10.15). Only genuine versions of Mac operating systems are supported. CPU: Intel processor. RAM: 4GB or higher. As of 1/1/2020, Examsoft has released Examplify version 2.3.x. And formally ends support for Yosemite, El Capitan and Sierra versions of Mac OS. Make sure your current hardware meets the minimum requirements for Catalina. MacBook (Early 2015 or later) MacBook Air (Mid-2012 or later) MacBook Pro (Mid-2012 or later) Mac mini (Late 2012 or later).
You may not use any virtual camera software with ExamID or ExamMonitor.

The upcoming Apple macOS 11 (Big Sur) expected in October 2020 has not been certified as compatible for use with Examplify for Mac. Please do not upgrade to this version until it has been approved by ExamSoft.
