Google Drive File Stream may already be installed on your computer. Click Launchpad (rocket icon) and look for Google Drive File Stream. Or click the Finder desktop, click the Go menu at the top of the screen and choose Applications. The app must include the words File Stream. Note: Once this transfer has completed, you can eject the 'Install Google Drive' disk image and delete the 'installgoogledrive.dmg' file you downloaded. Launch the Google Drive File Stream app from your Applications folder and authenticate using your NCSSM email address and password. From the list, select Google Drive File Stream and click Add the application to the workstation. The download will take a moment, after which you can use the application. The Google Drive File Stream application can be downloaded to an Aalto Mac from the Managed Software Center (a pre-installed application on the workstation). Note: Once this transfer has completed, you can eject the 'Install Google Drive' disk image and delete the 'installgoogledrive.dmg' file you downloaded. Launch the Google Drive File Stream app from your Applications folder and authenticate using your NCSSM email address and password.

You can access File Stream from the Menu Bar or inside the Finder window.
File Stream allows end users to work offline. To work offline right mouse click on a folder or file and select Drive File Stream, Available Offline.
